PURPOSE:To facilitate the attachment and detachment of a flywheel, which is rotatably supported on a rotary shaft, by using a shifter to selectively bring the flywheel into contact with a flange secured on the rotary shaft and by using bolts to secure the flywheel and the flange on each other. CONSTITUTION:To secure a flywheel 5c on a secured flange 4b, adjusting bolts 17 are fully tightened to turn a shifter 11c clockwise to move the flywheel rightward through trunnions 14 and a guide ring 6c so that the right-hand side of the flywheel is brought into contact with a side of the secured flange. The flywheel 5c is then manually turned lightly to fit a driven pin 9 in the secured flange. The flywheel 5c is thereafter secured on the flange 4b by mounting bolts 8. To detach the flywheel 5c from the flange 4b, the opposite procedure is taken. |
