PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled magnet alloy with high magnetic uniformity by selecting specified conditions for soln. heat treatment to reduce the grain size of alpha-phase crystals. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a spinodal decomosition type permanent Fe-Cr-Co magnet alloy, soln, heat treatment is carried out at 900-1,100 deg.C for <=10min to adjust the grain size of alpha-phase crystals to 20-50mum. By reducing the grain size of alpha-phase crystals, a magnet alloy with high magnetic uniformity applicable to a high density magnetic encoder can be obtd. |
