PURPOSE:To make work for laying tuyere bricks safe and smooth by suspending each of the bricks at an angle of inclination equal to that of a blowing nozzle, moving the brick as it is, and matching it to the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Each tuyere brick is put on the bottom of a converter 10 by means of the lift 12 of a lift guide 11 lowered through the throat of the converter 10. The brick is suspended at an angle of inclination equal to that of a blowing nozzle 27 protruded from the bottom of the converter 10 in an inclined state. The brick is moved, matched to the nozzle 27, and lowered along the axis of the nozzle 27. Thus, the work for laying tuyere bricks is carried out safely and smoothly. |
