PURPOSE:To obtain a high-efficiency thin magnetic head, by reducing the crosstalk and increasing easily the number of windings. CONSTITUTION:A thin lower magnetic pole constituting piece 2 and a thin upper magnetic pole constituting piece 3 are attached onto one substrate 1, and gap forming layers 2A1 and 3A1 consisting of an SiO2, an Al2O3, or the like are formed on overlap parts 2A and 3A by vapor-deposition, sputtering, or the like. One ends of coils 5 and 6 are inserted to a winding window 4 provided in the lower magnetic pole constituting piece 2 and the upper magnetic pole constituting piece 3, and coils 5 and 6 are wound around the lower magnetic pole constituting piece 2 and the upper magnetic pole constituting piece 3. Overlap parts 2A and 3A between the lower magnetic pole constituting piece 2 and the upper magnetic pole constituting piece 3 are adjusted to make the width of them coincident with a track width l easily. |
