PURPOSE:To obtain a circular-polarized-wave microstrip antenna of simple constitution which has wide-band characteristics by interposing at least one passive or impedance-loaded shore between a grounding conductor and an active conductor which constitute the antenna. CONSTITUTION:In a figure, 21 is the grounding conductor and 22 is the circular active conductor plate with a radius (r) arranged at distance (h) from the grounding conductor with a dielectric, e.g. unshown air between. Then, the tip of the passive shore 23 for feeding the active shore 22 piercing the grounding conductor 21 is provided at distance (a) from the center Ct of the active conductor plate 22. For example, metallic passive shores 24 and 25 are provided at prescribed distance from said active shore 23 and between the active conductor plate 22 and grounding conductor 21. Consequently, the passive shore 24 is only added in addition to the active shore 23 to generate a circular polarized wave easily. |
