PURPOSE:To shorten the duration of a call and to reduce its charge by sending the reproduced voice of a sound recording tape to a talephone transmitter at a fast feed speed, and receiving and recording it as it is and to reproduce at a normal speed on a reception side. CONSTITUTION:A sound recording and reproducing device body 2 is fitted with a speaker 3 for transmission to communicate and a microphone 4 for reception and packing material 5 for sealing are provided to the circumferences of receiver's mouths. At respective parts of the body 2, a transmission/reception changeover switch 7, sound recording microphone 8, and speaker 9 for listening are provided. A sound recroding tape is loaded and a sound recording button 10 is depressed to record a message through the microphone 8. A remote subscriber is called by telephone and to be prepared for reception, a telephone receiver is mounted on receiver receptacles 6 and a start button 16 is depressed with the switch placed at a reception position. On a transmission side, the completion of reception preparations is confirmed and then fast reproduction at a quick traversing is performed to transmit the message. After the transmission is completed a slow traversing button 13 is depressed to listen to the message through the speaker 9 at a normal speed on the reception side. |
