PURPOSE:To increase the tempering degree of a molded glass plate and to enhance the forming accuracy, by setting each nozzle for cooling between protrusions for pressing arranged on the surface of a die facing to the glass plate to enable the rapid cooling of the glass plate at the pressing position. CONSTITUTION:A heated flat glass plate 3 is transferred between a male die 2 and a female die 5 and press-formed to a curved shape. The plate 3 is then separated from the dies 2, 5 and rapidly cooled by blowing cooling air on the surface of the plate 3 from each nozzle 9 set between protrusions 7 for pressing arranged on the surface of at least one of the dies 2, 5 facing to the plate 3. |
