<p>PURPOSE:To prevent failure of starting due to becoming flat of a battery, by integrating the battery voltage for a prescribed while after the time when a starter driving signal is given, and if the result of the above integration is lower than a prescribed value, judging that the battery power is lowered and releasing an automatic stopping mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When conditions of an AND circuit is satisfied by a battery judging signal S0 and a signal that becomes H when parking brake is applied, an engine is stopped by producing a fuel stop signal. On the other hand, a signal S17 obtained by rendering a starter driving signal S12 to H for a setting time of a timer 40 is converted into slightly delayed signals S18, S19 respectively by delay circuits 41, 42. When a switch 43 is closed by the signal S17, a battery voltage VB is integrated by an integrator 44 which is reset by the signal S19. Here, if the result VD of the above integration is smaller than a prescribed value V1, the content of a memory circuit 46 to be stored in each signal S18, i.e., the signal S0 is rendered to L for resetting an automatic stop mechanism for stopping fuel supply. Therefore, charging of the battery can be judged correctly, so that it is enabled to prevent failure of starting.</p> |
