PURPOSE:To discharge oil reserved in a motor chamber into a crank chamber by a method wherein opening face of a pipe, having the opening face at one end thereof and a closed face at the other end thereof, is faced to the crank chamber side and the closed face, provided with a choking hole, is faced to the side of the suction path of refrigerant medium gas while the crank chamber and the refrigerant medium gas path as well as the crank chamber and the motor chamber are communicated respectively. CONSTITUTION:A motor M, having a rotor 7 bored with air holes 8, is accommodated in the motor chamber 5 while the bottoms of the crank chamber 13 and the motor chamber are bored with an oil returning hole 15 having a non-return valve 16. The suction chamber 17 of a head cover 3 and the crank chamber 13 are communicated by a communicating pipe 19 having an open hole of the choking hole at the upper end closing surface and an open face at the lower end thereof. The pressure of the crank chamber 13 becomes lower than the same of the motor chamber 5 by the choking hole of the pipe 19 and the non-return valve 16 is opened due to the pressure difference thereby discharging the oil, reserved in the motor chamber 5, into the crank chamber 13. |
