PURPOSE:To suppress the resonance of a speaker dust cap and to prevent the malformation of a diaphragm as well as the rubbing of a voice coil, by using the resin mixed with single crystal fibers of potassium titanate to the material of the speaker dust cap. CONSTITUTION:The 15% single crystal fibers of potassium titanate is mixed into polypropylene to obtain a pellet. This pellet is formed into a film by injection molding,and this film is formed into a dome-shaped dust cap 11 by vacuum forming. The single crystal fibers of potassium titanate improves the Young's modulus and the rigidity of the cap 11. This is therefore suited to reinforcement of a speaker. Furthermore the polypropylene increases the internal loss and suppresses the resonance of the dust cap. |
