PURPOSE:To obtain flat frequency characteristics of a speaker and at the same time to increase the strength of the speaker, by using the resin mixed with organic and inorganic fillers to produce a dust cap of the speaker. CONSTITUTION:A pellet is produced by mixing the mica powder and cellulose powder to polypropylene. This pellet is formed into a film, and this film is formed into a dome-shaped dust cap 11. This dust cap increase the internal loss of a speaker and therefore suppress the resonance of the dust cap. As a result, the flat frequency characteristics can be obtained. At the same time, the Young's modulus of material is improved owing to use of fillers. This improves the rigidity of the dust cap and therefore increases reinforcement of the speaker. |
