PURPOSE:To reduce the polishing time and to attain longer life of a stylus polishing disc, by forming a metallic coating film on the surface of grooves for stylus polishment of a disc consisting essentially of an organic polymer material and forming a compound film. CONSTITUTION:A photoresist layer 33 is coated on a glass plate 31, an energy beam 34 is irradiated and exposed for development to form the groove 35. A master disc 36 is formed on the original disc. The master disc 36 is stripped away, the surface is plated to form a mother disc 37 and a stamper 38 is formed by plating. A base disc 40 having the grooves 39 is molded by using the stamper 38 and a metallic coating film 41 is formed on the surface of the disc 40. Further, a coating film 100 reacted with at least one king of a metals constituting the film 41 is formed on the film 41. |
