PURPOSE:To detect a picture position with high resolution at a high speed, by finding an intersection between a threshold and a video signal from straight interpolation corresponding to the counted result of a transfer clock between picture elements putting adjacent thresholds between them. CONSTITUTION:The data of adjacent picture elements inputted from an image sensor 1 and stored in both registers 6, 7 are compared with threshold (b) by comparators 9, 10 respectively. The outputs of both the comparators 9, 10 are inputted to an exclusive OR circuit 11. When an AND circuit 12 is opened, the output (h) of the exclusive OR circuit 11 is a writing command to storage circuits 13, 14, 15. An arithmetic circuit 18 executes the arithmetic processing of straight interpolation for the data of the adjacent picture elements from three kinds of information (j), (k), (l) to find out the intersection (t) between the threshold and the video signal and outputs the intersection (t) to an output terminal 19. |
