<p>The invention relates to the lifting of loads or trimming of objects. It is an accessory which enables the temporarily connection of two strap ends, or one strap end to another device, and provided so that no part of said accessory extends beyond the external effective faces of these straps which are connected by said accessory, thereby eliminating the risk of damaging the objects which are handled as well as those which may be contacted by the straps. The invention is comprised of a substantially U-shaped part having very elongated branches (1) receiving the strap ends in the shape of loops, and of a system which may be easily handled, adapted to the ends of the branches and intended to avoid the disengagement of the strap ends, the spacing apart of the branches under the load, and provided with a safety device (2) avoiding the disengagement of said system from the branches of the "U". The invention applies to the lifting and stowing of objects which have to be handled with care, for example the maintenance aground of yachts or pleasure boats.</p> |
