PURPOSE:To remove sufficiently a waste toner which is stuck to and remains in the end part of a rotary carrying member, by arranging a magnetic material in the back extending end of the rotary carrying member and oscillating the rotary carrying member by the attraction an the repulsion which are generated alternately between this magnetic material and a magnet roller. CONSTITUTION:The residual toner on a photoreceptor 1 is scraped by a blade 2 and is led to a waste toner saucer 6 by a counterclockwise rotating magnet roller 3. A magnet 11 is attached to the tip of an extending part 13 of an interruptedly rotating rotary carrying plate 10, and this magnet 11 undergoes the influence of lines of the magnetic force of the magnet roller 3 when the tip of the carrying plate 10 is placed in the end part of the toner saucer 6. Thus, the attraction and the repulsion act alternately upon the magnet 11 by the periodic change of N and S poles of the roller 3 to oscillate the magnet 11, and the waste toner which tries to stick to the edge part of the rotary carrying plate 10 is oscillated and shaked off and does not remain. |
