The invention relates to a device for tensioning a loose belt end in relation to a further fixed belt end, a chain or a rope, the amount of tensile force being indicated as a result of a bolt mounted in a floating manner and supported by means of springs. The tension is applied by means of a conventional ratchet, and to obtain a narrow tolerance range near the desired tensile force the step width of the ratchet detent is chosen as small as possible. Tensile forces of, for example, 5000 N and exact, for example, to 300 N can be achieved in this way. |
