The set of building elements contains a permanent wall frame which is designed as a support and formed from lateral angle sections connected to struts or braces. A prefabricated building component can also be employed. Front panels are fitted into the wall frame. The front panels are intended for receiving the supply and discharge connections and for fastening the adaptors. The adaptors form a hollow space for receiving the connection fitting between medium-conducting conduit, which is guided in the protective pipe, or sanitary surface-mounted or concealed fitting. The adaptors are attached to the side of the front panels facing away from the outer wall. In the case of concealed fittings, the fitting is accommodated, together with the connection fitting, in the adaptor hollow space. The front panel possesses mounting bores, through which the fittings are mounted. The hollow space of the wall frame is lined with shuttering material after the pipe mounting and filled, thus producing a solid wall in which the supply and discharge conduits are enclosed.
