PURPOSE:To form a recording preventing mechanism not damaged even with repetitive loading and unloading, by allocating a recording prevention piece freely removable at a detectable position at a recorder and reproducer at any of four corners of a magnetic disc cassette. CONSTITUTION:A recording preventing piece allocating section 3 is formed by cutting off the four corners of a magnetic disc cassette 1. At the recorder and reproducer of the allocating section 3, a recording prevention piece 2 is allocated removably with pins (not shown) to a section detectable such as photocouplers 4a, 4b. The recording mode is inhibited with the presence/absence of the input to the photocoupler 4b to prevent the destruction of the recording. Thus, even if the loading nd unloading of the recording prevention piece is repeated, the prevention of recording is surely done. |
