Door arrangement for a room which is screened against electromagnetic pulses (EMP) having an electromagnetic attenuation in the region of 60 dB/1 kHz-120 dB/10 GHz. The flat side (4) of the door frame (1) parallel to the door leaf (5) supports a welded-on profiled frame (7) which has an inner and an outer frame limb (12 and 13 respectively) and a rectangular hollow profile (8). Mounted on its end surface (11) are contact springs (21) whose free tongue ends are supported on the outer frame limb (13) with a contact pressure and which assume the dashed position (q) when the door is in the open position. The door leaf (5) has an edge profile (16) which, when the door is closed, surrounds the rectangular hollow profile (8) without contact and in a flat parallel manner. When the door leaf edge (6) runs onto the contact springs (21) comparatively large spring movements, a large contact area and a large contact pressure result, irrespective of the spring tolerances. When the door is closed, the door leaf region bounding the edge profile (16) furthermore lies on the inner frame limb (12). Subject to planar contact surfaces and a uniform, sufficiently high surface pressure, a door joint with a very small gap width exists in the case of the inner frame limb (12), which gap width forms a transition zone with a very small magnetic and electrical resistance between the door leaf (5) and the frame (1). <IMAGE>
