An arrangement for fixing and/or electrically contacting components such as contact rails, reed contacts or the like on full-profile rails of electrical toy and model railways comprises providing, in the track bed, recesses which are spaced in the longitudinal direction of the rail and are preferably designed as blind holes which are opened towards the underside of the rail and can be broken through, plug pins attached to the components projecting into the said recesses from above and at least partially interlocking with angled retaining tabs of leaf-spring connecting clips engaging from below.
