Plastic bucket

On a plastic bucket of truncated pyramid-shaped design, having an edge reinforcement made of a tube embedded in the plastic, the object is to be achieved of providing a bucket which is particularly suitable for transport using transport vehicles which engage below the upper edge of the bucket, such as the forks of a fork-lift truck. The invention achieves this object in that the walls made of polyolefins are continued at least on the longitudinal side walls beyond the curvature into a downwardly extending wall part in the manner of a rim, in such a way that the bucket wall and the wall part forming the rim extend parallel to one another or enclose an acute angle, and in that a multiplicity of transverse ribs are arranged between the bucket wall and the wall part forming the rim, the lower edge of which transverse ribs is flush with the lower edge of the wall part forming the rim and extends parallel to the bucket bottom over its longer part.
