The invention relates to a gearing arrangement for the transmission and transformation of rotary motion, in particular at medium and high torques. The gearing arrangement according to the invention comprises a pair of transmission members which are provided on end faces, resting against one another, with transmission elements supported in rolling fashion in transmission grooves. In this arrangement, the transmission elements supported in rolling fashion between the interacting transmission members, in corresponding compound transmission grooves, are arranged at regular intervals in a circle and are supported pivotably in a guide gearing arranged rotatably between the transmission members. The invention can be used, in particular, in actuating, position protection gearings or manipulation systems and/or in hand tools.
