In a resorption heat pump, the refrigerant contained in an absorption solution is drawn off as a gas via the gas chamber of an expeller exclusively by creating a low pressure by means of a jet pump. The jet pump is built into the supply line of a pressure pump, which line is connected via a counterflow temperature changer to the resorber, in such a manner that the absorption solution, which is low in refrigerant and is pumped off from the liquid chamber of the expeller, is enriched at the jet pump with the gas and can be pressure-relieved by a control valve for entry into the resorber. The counterflow line of the temperature changer coming from the resorber is connected to the expeller, in the liquid chamber of which there is installed a heat exchanger provided for carrying off the usable heat.
