In a push-button switch group, especially for washing machines and dishwashers, spray protection is created in that a spray protection element (5) is arranged on the plunger (4) of the push-button switch (1) in the region behind the switch aperture (3). The spray protection element (5) has two dripping edges (6, 6') located one behind the other, and a drip groove (7).
