PURPOSE:To enable scanning enhanced in resolution and S/N ratio, and almost free from flare, by mechanically driving a solid line sensor in the subsidiary direction crossing at right angles to the alignment direction of the main scanning direction. CONSTITUTION:A print color-separated plate placed on an original stand is illuminated, and a CCD line sensor 7 is horizontally fixed on the front surface of a printing plate 7a, i.e. the image-forming face of an optical system 14 contg. the lens head 15 for receiving the image of the illuminated print color-separated plate. The plate 7a is fixed through a joint plate 16 to the vertically movable slide table 17 of a linear slide mechanism and the table 17 is almost just fitted into an inside slider 18. Since a motor 10 is driven in such a constitution, fluctuation in the direction of the sensor 7, i.e. the main scanning direction can be suppressed during linear movement in the subsidiary direction, and the distance of its movement is detected with a rotary encoder 11, etc. |
