This protective structure for an antenna device consists of a radome (1) which forms a dome over the antenna device and is constructed to be self-supporting and has an opening towards the bottom with whose edge (3) it is supported on a hollow base (2) which is open at the top. In order to dissipate moisture which precipitates on the inside of the radome to as great an extent as possible it is provided for a circumferential annular gap (5) to be left free between the edge (3) of the radome opening and the outer wall (4) of the hollow base (2), which annular gap can be interrupted, if necessary, by supporting or connecting elements. The radome (1) can be supported on a circumferential annular collar (8) which falls away towards the exterior and is fitted underneath the annular gap (5) on the outer wall (4) of the hollow base (2). Liquid flowing out from the inside of the radome (1) can be dissipated through the annular gap (5) and perforations (9) provided in the wall of the radome. <IMAGE>
