PURPOSE:To monitor a TV signal, by switching a signal path and producing a pause signal when a channel selecting switch is operated and giving a pause to a VTR during its reproduction, during reproduction of the VTR. CONSTITUTION:A TV tuner 6 and a tuner incorporated to a VTR9 are controlled with operation of a channel selection switch 1 and via channel selecting circuits 2 and 3 of the TV and VTR sides and potentiometers 4 and 5 of the TV and VTR sides respectively. If the switch 1 is operated during the reproduction of the VTR9, an analog switch 10 is controlled by a control circuit consisting of transistors TR11 and TR12 which receive signals from the switch 1. Then the signal path led from the VTR9 is switched to the TV side, and the video and audio signals of the TV side supplied from a VIF circuit 7 and an SIF circuit 8 are transmitted to lines 23 and 24 to enable the monitor of TV signals. In this case, a circuit including one-shot circuits 29 and 30 produces a signal 32 to stop the VTR9 temporarily. |
