PURPOSE:To prevent a dead loop, by providing a titled device with a register storing branched addresses, comparing the contents of the register with the branched address to be generated by the succeeding branch processing, and when both the values are allowed to coincide with each other at the fixed number of times or more, generating interruption. CONSTITUTION:When a branch instruction is generated, the contents of a program counter 2 are modified by a branched address. When the initial value set in a register 3 is compared with the branched address by a comparator 4 and both the values are dissident with each other, the contents of the register 3 is updated by the branched address. When the branch processing is generated again, the branched address is compared with the contents of the register 3 by the comparator 4 and the compared result is dissident, the contents of the register 3 is updated by the new branched address and the counted value of a counting circuit 5 is cleared. When the contents of the register 3 coincides with the preceding branched address, the contents of the count register is not updated by the counting circuit 5. When the branch instruction is executed by the same branched address of the times or more previsously set in the counting circuit 5, an interruption is generated. |
