PURPOSE:To simplify the construction work of an underground continuous wall by a method in which horizontal holes are drilled in projections formed on one sides of concrete unit walls, tension members are inserted and set, and concrete is placed. CONSTITUTION:Vertical projections 2a are formed on one side of a concrete unit wall 2 to make up a continuous wall, and plural horizontal holes 2b are drilled in almost horizontal direction on a straight line. Then, tension members 4 of PC wires, etc., are pierced through sheathes 3 passing through the holes 2 of plural walls 2, one ends of the tension members are fixed by a fixing means 5 and the other ends are attached to a tension means 6, and the port of the means 6 is removed and concrete is placed. Then, after the concrete has hardened, a tension is given to the tension member 4 by the means 6 in such a way as to give a lateral compaction force to the continuous wall. |
