PURPOSE:To exactly set an interval of a torch, by positioning an interval of many parallel torches by a signal, and thereafter, detecting and correcting its center position. CONSTITUTION:A torch carriage 8 which is capable of sliding in the Y axis direction along a beam 4 on a cross frame 3 on a truck which can run in the X axis direction on a rail 1 is moved exactly to a prescribed position by a numerical signal. Subsequently, an interval of a torch 6 held by the carriage 8 is set. Subsequently, a jet air hole of each nozzle 19 or an air current 21 jetted from said hole is detected by a detecting device 22 placed in advance at the same position as the carriage 8, by a detector carriage 24 which is capable of sliding along a guide frame 25 on the frame 3. In this way, the center position of the nozzle 19 is confirmed, and an error between this position and the position of the carriage 8, which is set as mentioned above is detected. In case when there is an error, the position of each nozzle 19 can be set exactly by correcting the position of the carriage 8. |
