PURPOSE:To protect a bottom cut-off rubber from direct impaction of flowing water when the gate door is opened by incorporating an upward spring part (plate spring) into the bottom cut-off rubber attached to a chamber provided at the bottom of the gate door. CONSTITUTION:When the gate door 10 is opened, if the flow of pressure water from upstream to a water through hole 18 is interrupted, a bottom cut-off rubber 14 is pressed on a stopper 16 by the action of a built-in plate spring 15, and water coming into a chamber 14 flows out from an aperture 17 to the outside. Whereupon, since the water pressure inside the chamber 13 does not rise, the bottom cut-off rubber 14 can keep its state as shown by full line and can thus be protected from the direct impaction of flowing water D. On the other hand, when water is stopped by closing the gate door 10, water goes from the water through hole 18 into the chamber 13, the water pressure of the chamber 13 rises, and thereby the bottom cut-off rubber 14 is pressed on the upside of the lower flow path E against the built-in plate spring 15, whereby stopping the flow of water. |
