PURPOSE:To adjust a welding current in accordance with a variation of a shape of the tip of an electrode, and to elevate a welding quality, by measuring a difference voltage value between inter-electrode voltage of the maximum time and inter-electrode voltage of the time when electrification has ended, so that the welding current can be increased in accordance with decrease of difference voltage. CONSTITUTION:A titled device is provided with a means for measuring the maximum inter-electrode voltage after a prescribed time has passed from start of electrification, a means for measuring inter-electrode voltage of the time when electrification has ended, an operating means for operating a difference voltage value of said both voltages, and a means for increasing the welding current in accordance with decrease of this difference voltage value. According to this device, a welding current of a resistance welding machine is adjusted automatically in accordance with a variation of a shape of the tip of the electrode, and the welding quality is elevated. |
