<p>PURPOSE:To enable the miniaturization of a brake by engaging one end of a push rod with the stopper on the first piston side and the other end with the third piston of a spring brake cylinder so as to transmit the force of brake action with the push rod. CONSTITUTION:When pressurized air is supplied into the interior of a diaphragm 5, the first and second pistons 1, 2 operate in such a direction as they are separated each other, and the distance between brake levers 8 and 9 is extend to operate the brake. And when the interior of a pressure chamber 34 is opened to the atmosphere, a spring 33 having been in a compressed condition is extended, so that the third piston 32 pushes the first piston 1 via a push rod 37 and a stopper 23. Accordingly, the distance between the first and second pistons 1, 2 is extended, so that the distance between brake levers 8 and 9 is extended to operate the brake, thus by this constitution the miniaturization of the brake can be enabled.</p> |
