Apparatus for measuring electrical potential in a cell (1) especially at a point (6) close to a sample electrode (4) comprises accommodation (11) for a reference electrode (3), a modified luggin tube (13), location means (19, 20 and 10) for the sample electrode and supports (9 and 8) for the luggin tube and location means respectively, the supports being fixed relative to each other. The apparatus requires less skill in the positioning of the sample electrode close to point 6 and is less vulnerable to inadvertent disturbance. <IMAGE> |
