GUIDE BEARING OIL TANK DEVICE

PURPOSE:To cool a bearing pad and increase the rigidity of the pad by forcibly supplying cooling oil to an oil passage groove provided between layers of a two- layer bearing pad by a pump separately provided. CONSTITUTION:The two-layer type guide bearing pad 30 is made from a first layer base metal 31 and a second layer base metal 32, and an oil passage groove 18 is provided on the bonding surface of these base metals. The addition to the oil passage groove 18, an oil passage hole 33 and a communication hole 34 are communicated with the bearing pad 30. The separately provided pump 40 supplies a cooled lubricating oil to an oil passage hole 33 through divided pipes 47 in the same number as the bearing pad 30. The lubricating oil supplied to the oil passage hole 33 is introduced to the oil passage groove 18 through the communication hole 34 to cool the bearing pad.
