PURPOSE:To cool the heat generated in a speed change gear or a belt by a method wherein a speed change gear chamber is divided into two chambers by a partitioning packing arranged in parallel to the rotating surface of the belt and air in the change gear chamber is circulated sequentially between the two chambers by the fan of a pulley. CONSTITUTION:A speed change gear chamber 5 is made by an enclosed structure isolating from a case 38, connected continuously to the crank case of an engine 2, and a cover 39 coupled to the case 38. A partitioning packing 40 is provided between the interfaces of the case 38 and the cover 39 and the interior of the speed change gear chamber 5 is divided into two parts substantially to form the chamber A at the side of the crank case and the chamber B at the side of the cover 39. Turbine blade type fans 44, 52 are provided radially on the back face of the drive face 16 of a drive pulley 8 and the same of the driven face 25 of a driven pulley 10 respectively to circulate the air in the chambers A, B partitioned by the partitioning packing 40. |
