PURPOSE:To prevent loosening of bolts caused by the shearing force acted in a power transmitting apparatus, by bolting a drive member and a driven member of the power transmitting apparatus together by the intermediary of a hollow spacer. CONSTITUTION:The driving force of a driving bevel gear 11 is transmitted to a differential case 15 via a driven bevel gear 12. The driven bevel gear 12 and the differential case 15 are fixed together by means of a hollow spacer 17 and bolts 16. Since, by employing such an arrangement, the shearing force is supported by the spacer 17, no shearing force is acted to the bolts 16, so that the loosening of the bolts 16 can be prevented.
