<p>The machine moistens plants with pesticide, having a frame moved, partic. by tractor, over the field and containing a moistening device at right angles to the travel direction. This device comprises one or more pipes (4), either perforated or porous, and accommodating the pesticide. The tube is rotated by a drive mechanism so that its exterior is moistened by the emerging pesticide, which is then wiped off against the plants. There can be a porous covering layer on the pipe, particularly of fibrous or textile material, and the pipe height can be adjustable in relation to the frame.</p> |
