The unit uses water or compressed air to drive a turbine. The turbine is mechanically coupled to an alternator which generates 220 Volt alternating current. The alternator output is used to drive a pump which is used to raise the spent water from the turbine to a suitable head for it to be re-circulated and directed once again onto the water turbine. In addition to the closed cycle described above, a jet of water derived from the town water supply can be used to supplement the power input to the water turbine.
