PURPOSE:To realize high reliability and high durability inexpensively, by fitting a stopper ring extended with a stopper piece on the outside circumference between a differential gear case and an inner race of a bearing and pressing the drive gear of a speedometer to the differential gear case. CONSTITUTION:A differential gear case 3 rotates as its shaft part 3b is supported by a bearing 4. A drive gear 9 of a speedometer which is made of a synthetic resin and is fitted onto the annular stepped part 3a of the differential gear case is formed integrally with a flange part 9a which contacts with the end part on the small diameter side of the annular stepped part. The arm 16 of a stopper ring 15 is fitted into a receiving groove 3c formed at the neck of the part 3b and presses the end face of the flange part 9a leftward by means of a stopper piece 17 formed by extending roughly over the entire outside circumference of the ring. The centering piece 18 of the ring 15 fits into the inside circumferential surface of the part 9a and centers the ring 15. |
