PURPOSE:To mitigate shock at the stroke end of a piston by detecting by a sensor that the piston of the fluid pressure type cylinder has approached the stroke end and reducing the quantity of a fluid supplied automatically to the cylinder by a flow quantity controller. CONSTITUTION:An oil hydraulic cylinder 1 and an oil hydraulic motor 2 are connected in parallel to a variable displacement pump 5 through operating valves 3 and 4. In the vicinities of both ends of the outer periphery of the cylinder 1 are mounted contactless switches 6 to detect approach of the piston 1b, and output a signal to a controller 7. The controller 7 operates a flowpath changeover valve 10 by the signal, and gradually reduces the discharge quantity of the pump 5. After stoppage of the cylinder 1, when a circuit 13 detects the stop state of the operating valve 3, the controller 7 restores the discharge quantity of the pump 5 to the maximum through the changeover valve 10 to drive the oil hydraulic motor 2. When the motor 2 is driven, the discharge quantity is not suppressed. |
