PURPOSE:To perform highly reliable cleaning operation with simple, small structure, by providing bladelike members that pressure contacted to the peripheral face of a photoreceptor in the housing of a cleaning device. CONSTITUTION:Rubberlike blade members 7, 8, an end of which is pressure contacted to the peripheral face of a photoreceptor 1 are provided in the housing 2 of a cleaning device and excessive developer is wiped off and recovered. Remaining small quantity of developer is sucked by a vacuum device 17 in a hermetically closed space formed by the members 7, 8, and recovered. By this way, highly reliable cleaning can be performed with simple, small structure. |
