PURPOSE:To obtain continually excellent pictures by discriminating on an image receiving state automatically and controlling the directivity of an antenna. CONSTITUTION:The channel-by-channel detection signal of the image receiving state of a television receiver 3 is fetched and supplied to an optimum point detecting circuit 4 to discriminating on the best point of the receiving state. The detection output is supplied as a control signal to a switch control circuit 5 for switching control over the switch group of a switching circuit 2. Consequently, combinations of antenna elements 1a-1d are changed for such directivity that the image receiving state is optimized. Further, the detection signal of the image receiving state is supplied to a picture control circuit 6 and by its output, a picture quality adjusting circuit 7 and a color saturation factor adjusting circuit 8 for a video signal are controlled according to the state of a received picture. |
