PURPOSE:To attain high speed of a plural forward accessing processing, by providing an index record to the same key of a plural files and constituting this record with the key value and the record identifier of each file. CONSTITUTION:An index record is provided for the same key value of index files A, B and the record consists the key value and the record identifier of the files A, B. The index record consists of associative memories AM101, 201,- 301,- storing the record of the index files and a microprocessor muPC10 controlling the entire system. On the bus 11, as the input to the muPC10, a processing request code, a key value, a file identifier, and a corresponding record identifier are given, and as an output from the muPC10, the index record and an error report are given. On a bus 12, the key value, an AM address and a record identifier being the output of the muPC10 are given and on a bus 13, outputs from each AM are given. |
