<p>PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, by performing data processing of clock operation with a prescribed reference time signal formed at a timer, in one- chip microcomputer having a clock function. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 10 is in the sleeve mode, a gate circuit G is changed from close to open state based on a time reference signal supplied from a timer 3. As a result, a system clock pulse is applied to an operation control circuit 1, the sleeve mode is released and data processing for the clock operation is done with the operation control circuit 1. When the data processing is finished, a control signal is outputted from the circuit 1 to attain the sleeve mode again, and the system clock pulse is not supplied to the circuit 1.</p> |
