PURPOSE:To realize low power consumption and temperature compensation by connecting crystal oscillators which have mutually reverse temperature characteristics from the output side of a C-MOS inverter circuit to gate sides of respective channels. CONSTITUTION:The drain of a P channel transistor (TR) 16 and that of an N channel TR17 are connected mutually. Outputs from the drains are supplied to circuits including the crystal oscillators 21 and 22. The output of the circuit including the crystal oscillator 21 turns on the TR16 to charge a capacitor 18, thereby exciting the crystal oscillators 21 and 22. During this period, the N- MOSTR17 is held off. In a next half cycle, the output of the circuit including the crystal oscillator 22 is supplied to the gate of the TR17, which turns on. Thus, the TRs having mutually reverse temperature characteristics are driven to hold oscillation, obtaining flat temperature characteristics. |
