<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a gas adsorbent high in an adsorbing speed and low in pressure loss, by holding granular activated carbon in the network structure of a fiber lump. CONSTITUTION:In gaps with a three-dimensional network structures of a fiber lump formed by mutually entangling groups of staple fibers having appropriate lengths and thicknesses, activated carbon particles 3 with particle sizes of 6- 145 mesh are held. By this structure, gas adsorbing efficiency due to activated carbon is made excellent and collecting capacity of solid particles such as dust due to fiber gaps becomes good while pressure loss is not increased even if the particle size of activated carbon is reduced and an adsorbing speed is enhanced.</p> |
