A lashing device 13 for deck cargo related to vessels comprises a link part 14 comprising swingably mounted claw means 19 which are kept in a locking position of an encompassing cylinder 22. A sealed up compressed air cylinder 27 may be opened by acting on a pin 38 mounted on a piston 37 which may be pressed along by initiating an explosive cartridge 40. The released compressed air is brought to displace the cylinder 22 such that the claw means 19 looses its grip, and the lashing device is freed. Initiating of the explosive cartridge 40 is established electrically from a control box 16 arranged at a safe position. <IMAGE> |
