DATA REWRITING SYSTEM OF MEMORY

PURPOSE:To realize a memory rewriting system which can easily recover data regardless of a service interruption occurring during the rewriting, by rewriting the contents of a PROM which is electrically rewritable via a PROM which is electrically rewritable, etc. CONSTITUTION:The contents of a PROM (EEPROM) 4 of a memory cassette 2 which is electrically rewritable are all read out and written to an RAM12 of a writing/reading device 1. The contents of the RAM12 are rewritten by a rewriting data given from an input device 13 and then written to an EEPROM14. Then the contents of the PROM4 are all erased and replaced with the contents of the PROM14. Therefore the data can be recovered easily and assuredly by reexecution for a memory rewriting system even though a service interruption occurs during the rewriting.
