Adjustable shelving unit comprising a number of vertical posts 3 from which extend the horizontal arms 5 to support the shelves. The shelving unit is designed to ensure convenient use also on premises that have a sloping floor and/or an uneven floor and walls. It also allows the accurate installation of the shelves. The shelving unit according to the invention is characterized, from the constructional point of view, in that the lower end part of each post has a first foot 8 for supporting the shelving unit. In the area of this is fixed a projecting arm 7 that can be adjusted in an infinitely variable manner along the post and which is connected to a second foot 6 for supporting the shelving unit. The arms that support the actual shelves can be adjusted in an infinitely variable manner along the posts with the aid of clamping elements. <IMAGE> |
